Hi, I’m Lillian, the artist behind Lilliantly.

My work explores femininity, emotion, dreams, and the strange beauty of everyday life. I’m drawn to creating worlds that feel romantic and slightly surreal, where the ordinary becomes theatrical and beauty can be a little mysterious. My paintings often center the feminine figure, embracing softness, beauty, romance, and excess. I’m interested in femininity that can be delicate without being fragile, beautiful without being passive, and excessive without needing to be toned down.

As a maximalist and, admittedly, a bit of a material girl, I’m inspired by the things I surround myself with: vintage clothing, old photographs, lush and sometimes extravagant interiors, music, and the small details that make life feel cinematic. Living in Los Angeles has also shaped the way I see and create. I’m drawn to the contrast between these soft, beautiful spaces and the crowded, gritty city outside, romanticizing urban landscapes and finding beauty in places that might otherwise feel lonely or overlooked.

That same maximalist instinct shapes my process. I love mixed media for the freedom to layer paint, textures, materials, and found objects into pieces that can never be recreated exactly, even by me. I often return to older work to rework or add to it, allowing each piece to reflect both the moment I made it and how I see that moment now.

Lilliantly is a home for my art and a place for everything else I love to create, from writing and fashion to music and whatever comes next. At its heart, it’s a glimpse into my world: personal, ever-evolving, a little eccentric, and always open to whatever inspires me next.
